It seems as if every New Year’s Eve for the past six years I have had a wedding to photograph, and I can’t say I minded! I love a good party especially on New Year’s Eve and Jessica and Nick’s wedding at the State Room in Boston did not disappoint! We started the day at what is hands down one of my favorite Hotels to photograph in, the Ames Hotel in downtown Boston. Jessica’s suite was like heaven on Earth for me, I just adored shooting here so much.

I took the image below right after she got dressed and right before she saw her father and then Nick for their first look. The room was quiet, and I has Jessica sit there for a moment before everything got crazy. I am so glad we did this, this is one of my favorite images I created all year! Jessica is just the most stunning and sweet bride, ever. Big thanks to Carrie Draghi and Ryan Lamb for being my dynamic duo for the day!

Her gown from Kleinfeld’s was designed by Edgardo Bonilla, and it was a stunner! So much texture, I loved it so much!

The bridesmaids dresses were all different shades of champagne and were designed by Sue Wong. The elegant paper suite was by Harper Invitations!

Her gardenia bouquet was by The Root System. I could have easily buried my face in it all day! Pure heaven!

This bridal party was amazing. So fun to work with, so easy going and sooooo photogenic!!

We did their first look at Boston’s City Hall
