Krista, Jose and their crazy awesome vintage Hartford wedding at the Bond Ballroom just about killed me with how cool and laid back it all was! That Krista embodied the ideal bride with her low stress level and willingness to do anything we wanted was the cherry on the top of the world’s best sundae…

And so we begin our tale…. it was a dark and stormy day…. like, for REAL!

The whole feel of this room in the Homewood Suites (which are a part of the Bond) just fit. The colors were like the caramel sauce on the world’s best sundae…

Let me just say this: her Mom was the florist!!Go Mom!! Those feather accents were very visually stimulating and pleasing. Do I even need to comment on her veil? With feathers?

This is the sprinkle part. You know. On top of the world’s best sundae.

Their daughter was like, the cutest. Ever. Look at those gloves!

Even the color of the bridesmaids dresses was vintage! Everything was so well thought out and flowed like a river of ice cream

Here was the visual team for the day: Mike- standing so saintly under the church sign- Saint Michael Roman, really- look very closely!

Miss Katie Slater in her perch on the balcony like a little bird of happiness

and my guy Tom Morlock from Vantage Point Films, laughing- how shocking and out of character for him

They rented a cool vintage car aka our favorite prop

Such a cutie little princess

These guys were so funny and energetic, this may actually be the only moment all day where they stood still! They laughed and sang ALL day!! Yes I said sang, they did!

The ladies were so easy to work with and shared in Krista’s mellow energy, I loved them!

Still outside…. the light was great even though it was one of the most humid days ever!!

Moving into the inside amongst the nooks and crannies of City Hall that I know and love so much

Here is a little shout out to my Padre- this is his mural in the background!!! It is so amazing- not the best wedding material, yes I know but whatever! Gotta give my Dad props where props are due

And yes. We got a RAINBOW!!

Some details and elements from the day

Krista researched some old Hartford imagery and used it for her coasters and napkins

These windows are great

Mike, Katie and I tag teamed the announcing in part and I decided to get the other view for a change!

These chandeliers are the highlight of this ballroom!

And of course, we gotta wrap it up with some c 10 ike photo booth crazy time! We changed up the backdrop to add to the vintage feel and Krista and Jose provided the props! I love the pineapple

Krista and Jose- we had such a great time with your families, thank you SO much!!!!
