Welcome to one of my favorite weddings of all time. Like ever, ever EVERRRRRRRR. Mostly? Well, Andrew and Donna’ swedding at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills is the kind of wedding you just never forget!
And as for just being great people? Well…we just connected from our first meeting in such a real way, I just knew we were going to work together! They were some of the most easy going clients I have ever worked with- talk about handing over their complete trust!
The weather was literally a wash out, so there goes their outdoor ceremony at the Barns! I was bummed since it was my first ‘real’ time shooting there since my sister’s wedding a few years back. But. I had a few tricks up my sleeve, thanks to my awesome sister and brother in law…. they hooked me up in such a major way!
So here is Miss Donna. So beautiful, so naturally radiant and just all around lovely as a person!
Her necklace was the bomb diggity dot com! Donna please leave a comment with who the desiger was, I want to give them props, it is so fabulous!!!
Her details…. her grandmother cross stitched their initials!
The flowers were done by none other than the fantabulous DATURA!!!! Holy smokes they were just amazing
They decided to do a first look- and I found us a nice little place to do it in!
How into fashion are these guys? Andrew was checking out Donna’s shoes right outta the gate!
Some details! My favorite detail is the rug burn on Donna’s right shoulder from riding the bull the other night! How many brides can say that!
Andrew and Donna were just so wonderful together, radiant, happy and fun
See what I mean?
oh dear. I love this one so much it makes me a little crazy
this one too!
Mike got this shot of Donna and I got the one of Andrew!
Donna was working it for me
Her stunning bouquet!!! A la Datura
I love this series, I love this green!
Love the contrast here
Andrew is so wonderful and incredibly photogenic
The bridal party! Yes, that’s a Hasselblad in the flesh!
Mike Romano on the drums
Bridal party madness
Datura centerpiece madness!!! TERRARIUMS??? Who would have thought of this?? Donna and Datura, that is who!
They had a wishing tree
Some more wonderful wedding day details
Ceremony time! Now they had planned on having their ceremony outside by the weeping willows, so the rain was a bummer. But i decided to use some remote light, well, I kinda had to it was so dark inside….
I really like how these came out!
One of my favorite images of all time!
The on to some first dance time
Their cake topper was pretty awesome, check out the tattoo on the bride!!!
They had some fun with the photo booth props
And so did WE!!!! Miss Laurie Crutchfield flew up her all the way from North Carolina to shoot with our team for the weekend- it’s turning into a yearly tradition and I LOVE it!!!! Thanks Laurie for being with us!!
Donna and Andrew, thank you doesn’t even cut it! So that’s a big fat YES to dinner soon!!! Let’s set it up ASAP!! I miss you guys!
XO

Craziness…love the one of Donna in the sea of chairs and them leaving the ceremony site…really to many amazing ones to count though….great work team Ten Eyck!
I SO don’t believe this is the same place we got married! What gorgeous…everything!
OMG the cake toppers… our wedding last week had the same custom toppers. SO cool that they match them to the couples… LOVE IT.
This is such a rare and phenomenal occasion where the photos and the event are equally creative and gorgeous, that together they are greater than their sum. Just like Donna and Andrew as a couple (maybe I’m biased.)
Well in that case, Carla, you make me feel like Cinderella!
yes! you rock, carla — and NO donna, it’s not lame – it’s exactly what you should say when you see such incredible images of yourselves. you guys are beautiful!
I LOVED shooting this wedding with you guys!! Carla u time and time again amaze me with your talent and creativity!! To see you work in person is so much fun!!! Miss you!xxoo
So cool. Is it lame is the bride says “oh my, they are amazing and make me excited all over again?” Wow Carla, you guys are talented.
the photo of the tiny donna in a sea of green chairs is spectacular, but, yet, so is the entire rest of this wedding. they did such a phenomenal job putting everything together, right down to the hip, fresh tunes that played all night. awesome!
this is the most amazing wedding…i LOVE the details.
