Just Announced: Carla’s Ten Eyck’s Wedding Wednesday Seminar on March 24, 2010

Being a successful wedding photographer is about WAY more than just taking great pictures! Learn how to streamline your business while doing what you love most- taking pictures on the wedding day!
The blessing and the curse of owning your own business is, well, being your own boss! Throw on top of that the business side of things and you can imagine (and maybe you know from experience) how involved it really is.
If you are brand spanking new or have been doing weddings for even a few years there are still so many things to learn and grow from along the way. In her over 7 years of experience shooting weddings, Carla has learned some valuable things the hard way!
Hear how Carla streamlines her workflow, delegates the things she doesn’t need to do and has learned to let go of parts of her business in order to focus on what she loves most- her family- and taking pictures.
Carla will cover:
* web site / blog review and critique- how to know what to put on your site to attract the clients you want
* fine tune your pricing and packages
* marketing and advertising strategies, find what works for you
* so you found your clients! Learn how to run an effective client meeting and book them!
* take valuable control of the wedding day from the very first meeting
* maximize photo opportunities during the wedding day
* create a plan for the day that makes sense and that your clients will love and appreciate
* post wedding- establish a flow right from the start and keep your clients happy
* finding vendors that you love to work with
* most importantly- find a balance between your personal life and business- avoid getting overwhelmed right from the start
A lovely lunch and snacks are included
Carla limits the class size to ten students . The workshop runs from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM out of her Hartford, CT studio.
It’s only $265 to reserve your seat!  In order to secure your spot, payment is due as soon as possible. (this included CT state tax)

New Class Added for 2010: The  Posing Workshop

Learn how to get out of your posing rut and maximize your variety of images without making your clients feel like they are posing for a Sears Catalog! Both couples and one person posing styles; how to achieve a natural feel even though your clients may need direction and a little help!

How to get the most out of your clients from what to wear and what to bring to the shoot to where to go. Stop going to the park for your shoots! (But if you have to go I will show you how to work it!) How do you get your clients excited about new places – get them to see and trust your vision.
