c 10 ike studio family portrait day part 2

So here they are. The amazing, fun and awesome and did I say AMAZING?? Family pictures from the  super talented photographers that work for the studio. How lucky am I first of all to have such talent here. I mean honestly. But then to have them all photograph my family the way that they did? COME ON!!!!

Now just to clarify- we only do weddings through the studio with our associate photographers- you can contact them through the studio but they all do their own thing as far as portraits go- so get on it and book your family sessions with these ridiculously talented photographers!!

Now- if you can guess which image is going to be our holiday card I am going to enter you into a drawing for a $25 itunes gift card!! All of the potential images will have a number above them so you know they are in the running- GOOD LUCK!!!!

Here is my main man. Dave.

#1 – we love music in our family! And dressing up. And hanging out on couches in the freezing weather in our backyard.

studio family portrait day part 1

 

Not only do I love my job, but I love the people that I work with. How many people do you know that love both? I consider myself lucky, blessed, honored and just plain old PSYCHED to be able to say this!

Many of you know Katie Slater, an incredibly talented associate photographer with the studio. Well Miss Katie is quite the family portrait photographer and she had the brilliant idea of having a Studio Family Portrait day. Meaning that we would all converge on the studio, smartly dressed families in tow and have a day of shooting each other’s families! Now for me, I was excited to be able to really promote the photographer’s that shoot for the studio- because really, what better way to see how they are with clients than by being the client yourself! But the other bonus / bad thing about being a photographer- you take great photos of other people’s families but more often than not, have none of your own family to show!

Another added bonus: all of us being able to spend time with our families and our work families- a combination that is so rare I can’t say that it has ever happened before!

And was still incomplete- (Mike’s family was sick so they couldn’t make it, but we all missed you guys!)

The cherry on top? The amazing Catie Bane from Dana Bartone & Co. came to do the ladies makeup! Talk about feeling like a superstar….. BIG huge thanks to Miss Catie and her amazing talent!!

So I started with our studio manager and BFF from 30 years back, Dominique and her family

Then a  mini breakdown: Katie and Charlie

and Chris and Jack! These guys have blue eyes to spare in this family!!

Then a little time for some one on one. Oh and me. I was there too.

Enter the Scobey Family! Check out Little Evie’s smile!!! Graham is our associate photographer and Ashley is in training as well! They are the Scobey Dynamic Duo!

Then came the Maziarz Family! Ta-DA!

c 10 ike studio family portrait day sneak peek

I am a spaz as most of you may or may not know, and I am in FULL spaz mode right now! Yesterday we had an event here at the studio in Hartford to beat the band! Have fun with that little pun if you will, I know I am!

Just a teaser, because there is more. So. So. SO. SOOOOOO much more!!! I can hardly stand it!!
