When I met Kris + Brian, I knew I found two people who value photography on such a level that I just knew we were a match! They were happy to give me all the time I needed- and more! to ensure I have plenty of time, and the right light to create images they will treasure for years to come. They gave me a preview of what I could expect with them at the engagement session at Harkness Park in Waterford a while back, and to say that I was excited for their wedding is an understatement! Normally I have at least one person in the couple who is a little more nervous than the other, but for these two- man oh man they both just loved spending time with me and my trusty Nikon and letting the light just caress their faces and just gave me time to take it all in. Their wedding day was no different! We started the day at Kris’ family home in Redding CT, surrounded by beautiful gardens that were lovingly designed by her parent and all perfectly in bloom for us- it’s like they knew how important that day was and decided to show off. Being the gardening nerd and appreciator of all things green that I am, I said ‘I’ll take it!’ and created some beautiful images with Kris and Brian and their super energetic wedding party! There is a shot in here of one of the guys literally on my second photographers back on the dance floor! Good thing Joel is a giant strong man and was able to handle the surprise of having another 6-foot man just leap on him! Even better was the fact that I just happened to be right there to catch the shot!
Kris + Brian, I can’t thank you enough for the trust, time and love you gave me on your wedding day. Watching how kind and loving you are to one another was such a treat. Here’s to a life filled with love, hugs and each other! XOXO

The groomsmen had such mad, crazy love for Joel, it was hilarious and I was so psyched that I was there to catch this!
