Introducing the most darling of darlings: Nina and Kevin! The day I met Nina, I felt like I had found a long lost friend and couldn’t wait to hang out with her and Kevin on their engagement shoot. My homeboy Ryan Lambchop and I hit the road to New Haven, with bad music blasting, and met these guys at Edgerton Park. We wandered around in the fall sunshine and laughed. And wandered around some more. It was truly the perfect day.
Nina and Kevin, I am counting the days til your wedding. I just can’t wait to see you guys again! Read More
I could not have asked for a better couple to finish out my 2012 season. Rebecca and Stephen are the type of clients who make you feel like you’ve known them for years, and working with them is less like work and more like hanging with good friends. Both of their families welcomed me and Anna with open arms, and their good vibes and positive energy come through in each and every photo we took. With locations like Hartford City Hall and Elizabeth Park to boot, this wedding was no doubt one of my favorites of the year.

Abby and Ryan’s wedding day was amazing! So fun, so warm (I wish it were warm today!) And their families were so sweet too! It was a fabulous day at the Riverview in Simsbury! Many thanks to Athena for shooting with me!!
Ginger and Doug are such sweethearts, but after shooting their wedding and seeing the emotion and connection they share, it made it that much more touching to share in telling their story. These two not only love each other to bits, they also share a passion for mountain biking. Coincidentally weeks before their wedding they both, on different occasions, had bike accidents, leaving them with leg injuries for their special day. However their injuries in no way defined their wedding day, it was their love for each other that shined through! Watching them care for one another and each other’s Read More
Emily and Steve are a fun-loving couple, and I couldn’t have been more excited to shoot their Science Center Wedding with my friends Ali and Lynne! The Science Center is pretty cool to begin with, but they added their own creative, quirky details and it was a big ol’ colorful, fun-filled party. These two go together like protons and electrons. Like beakers and flasks. Like. I’ll stop. But they are really cute.
Before the ceremony, Emily and Steve did their first look at City Hall. It was so darn sweet. Ali, Lynne, and I had so much fun with them Read More
I am so excited to announce a partnership with a studio I have long admired. A few years back, Eric and Amber of RAW Photo Design burst onto the wedding photography scene. They were, and are, quite a force to be reckoned with. Although their edgy and highly stylized way of shooting is completely different from my more natural light approach, they kept me on my toes! We would collectively laugh when the same clients would meet with us both for their weddings because stylistically we are nothing alike. Our friendship grew over the years into a very deep Read More
One of the sweetest, most intimate, and loving weddings last year took place at the Yale Divinity School!!! For two people whose relationship blossomed at the School, it was the most, absolutely perfect day for them. Jen’s dress was a gorgeous Modern Trousseau creation from the White Dress by the Shore!
What a perfect day MaryBeth & Joe had for their wedding! A crisp Fall day was the backdrop for this gorgeous outdoor wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. This couple is also seriously cool, laid back, and fun too. With rock n’ roll details and a classic black and white color scheme, how could you go wrong? I loved that MaryBeth and Joe chose to do a first look too which allowed me plenty of time for creative portraits.
