happy birthday mom

Dear Mom,
Happy Birthday! I’m sorry to say I don’t know how old you would have been today. We all know I suck at math. I guess the good part about dying is that you get to be immortalized at the age you were when you died… so for you, happy eternal 59th birthday! I remember when I thought that 59 felt like so far away. Shit I thought 40 was old! That’ll be me next April, can you imagine Mom? But here you are, 59 years young, forever. I have to say I struggle with that number Mom. Read More

ct horse farm engagement session

Rachel and Guy’s sun-soaked horse farm engagement shoot was one of the most relaxing and fun shoots I have been on! The location- Guy’s family horse racing farm- was to DIE for…! Acres of rolling fields, barns, horses and a barn cat to boot! Oh and boots to boot! Rachel and I were kindred spirits from the start- with so many random things in common, I felt like we had been friends forever…!

I don’t know about you… but shooting around horses it always a fun challenge.. mostly because I have to be so quiet around them!Read More

dolphin cove stamford ct wedding

Christina and Chris’ nautical-meets-hoe-down New-England-Meets-Texas wedding was one of the most fun weddings Mike and I have photographed! From the sweet, love-filled way these two looked at each other all day, to her Mom (who Christina called Bob Villa and Cindy Crawford!) and both of their amazing families, to the snap of the nautical flags in the wind, to every carefully planned detail… it was pure bliss. All day long!

mystic ct marriott wedding

Becca and Ike’s romantic ballroom wedding this spring was full of love, flowers and laughter… and we had such a ball photographing it all! Becca was off the charts stunning, and Ike looked completely dashing in his smartly appointed tuxedo. The whole affair was elegant, classy and just perfect! All of their vendors came together to create such a beautiful room for their party, and they gave me an absolutely beautiful canvas with which to work for the whole day!

aldrich mansion wedding in warwick ri

Melissa and Joe’s beautiful estate wedding was at the opulent Aldrich Mansion in Warwick Rhode Island. From their stately colors of creams and black, to the absolutely stunning interior of the mansion, every last detail was perfect! If this place looks a little familiar, it may be because this is where the movie Meet Joe Black with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins was filmed! The whole day was perfect, from all of the happy family and guests, to having the perfect weather… Congratulations Melissa and Joe! Big thank you to Miss Anna Briggs for second shooting with me!

simsbury ct fall engagement session

Last week I got to spend the afternoon with Britta and Josh in what felt like a dream sequence … a sun soaked field with three ramshackle barns and these two and their absolutely perfect selves!! Britta had on THE cutest Lily Pulitzer dress she got from my favorite dress shop- The White Dress by the Shore! Paired with her cute Tory Burch flats and some goldenrod picked by Josh himself we were ready to go explore! These two poor souls had to listen to me and all of my crazy babble as we pulled up to this field that Read More
