Eyes up, heart open
Ali and Matt were married at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens in Staten Island, NY in May. The famous and funny Sandra Costello from Studio SMC Photography came with, and we had a blast as always! Take a peek!
Alis has the sweetest friends and family around.
Sandra grabbed these shots of Matt and the guys getting ready!

Fall is one of the prettiest seasons there is. Throw in a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, a barn, and some shiny, sparkly rainbow light, and you’ve got yourself a party. Kevin and Sarah tied the knot in beautiful Woodstock, Vermont and there was so much pretty going on. These two darlings were so much fun, so kind, and so up for wandering around Woodstock, it was really a dream come true. Where else can you walk down the road to a covered bridge, or just stumble upon a big ol barn just screaming to be photographed? Vermont. That’s where.
I love Charis and Aram and I loved their tiny, intimate, super special wedding deemed, ‘Cinco de Marriage,’ that happened in Charis’s mom and dad’s backyard. Still, after almost 5 seasons of photographing weddings I get goosebumps and find it so special that I get to have a part in this most sacred moment in people’s lives. I love my job!
Thanks to Gary Hamilton for shooting alongside me on this day!

A couple’s venue choice is often a reflection of their personalities, so when I met Helen and Andrew I had good reason to be optimistic. With a venue like Mystic Aquarium, surely these two wouldn’t be boring, right? Just as I suspected — and as evidenced by Helen’s infectious laughter in nearly every photo — Helen and Andrew are the most lively, colorful and organic couple I have ever worked with. REALLY!!! Ask Julie and she will tell you the same thing. They welcomed us on their wedding day with open arms, and EVERYONE — including their adorable Read More
I’m getting excited for Anne and Osa’s wedding this weekend so what better time to post their engagement pictures from Hartford’s Elizabeth Park? We had the most glorious weather as we took our time strolling through the amazing gardens laughing and shooting. I know we are going to have a great time this weekend, I can’t wait!
Check out the creeper in the back!
Thanks Ryan for grabbing a shot of all three of us!!
I LOOOVE these in black and white!
Jemile and Andrew should be professional tour guides. Their happy-go-lucky attitudes and knowledge of Brooklyn made for a really fun day in the city. Jazzy, Ryan and I headed out to Brooklyn this past spring to hang out with these two lovebirds, and it was a ton of fun. They had us laughing all over the city, and showed us some of their most favorite spots. We started out at the Brooklyn Bridge Park and made our way around town to a delicious little restaurant where we shot for a bit, and then kicked back with some yummy appetizers with Read More
There are certain people that come into our lives that we are just supposed to be around. It just clicks. Without getting all deep like Angela from My So-Called Life, that’s exactly how i feel about Bridget and Chris. Mr. and Mrs. Stone. Bridget and Chris are like two little rays of sunshine. Their contagious smiles, the way the giggle at each other, and their super duper sweetness is just perfect. Jazzy and I couldn’t wait for their wedding since we had so much fun at their engagement shoot last summer, and their wedding was just as beautiful. Sunflowers, family, friends, Read More
MaryBeth and Joe are definitely a cool couple. When we started discussing their engagement shoot and location, I thought of the perfect spot for them. We headed up to the Bridgewater/Roxbury area, an area I go to quite a bit for my landscapes. There were so many unique backdrops and an early morning storm had just rolled through which made for some dramatic sky action.
Can’t wait to photograph your wedding next month MB & Joe!
When I met with Ginger and Doug to talk about their eshoot, I was so excited when they mentioned bringing their mountain bikes to the shoot and the fact that Ginger would be wearing a little white dress with bicycles on it. That’s all I had to say to my pal Julie, before she was just as excited to come shoot this adorable couple with me, as I was to have her! At the end of August, we jumped in the car and headed to Mohawk Mountain Ski Resort. We had lots of fun exploring the quirky feel of a Read More
Patricia and Aaron’s wedding at the Candlewood Inn in Brookfield CT was full of emotion and yelling and oohing and craziness… from the photographers. Yeah, me, Mike and Jasmine could barely contain our excitement with how comfortable and intimate Aaron and Patricia are together. It’s like… they were meant to be in front of the camera in the craziest way. Many of you may remember them from their over the top engagement shoot at the Essex steam train HERE. If not, take a pause and check it out. It’s hands down one of my favorite shoots! See, they met on Read More
