Eyes up, heart open
To say I am looking forward to Kelsey and Leigh’s wedding in Newport this coming summer is an understatement! To quote Leigh ‘it will be a sea of dresses!’ What is not to love about that?? So their engagement session at their alma mater, Mount Holyoke, was a warm up session for the big day! The fall color was at its peak, and the campus was so beautiful- quintessential New England!!
Now how adorable are these two??
These two were cuddlers galore, which made my job incredibly easy …. I mean honestly!

In keeping with my week o’ the E! here on the b-log, I am here to show you my thrill-ride of a shoot with my very cool-under-pressure clients, Demetra and George! As brash and adventurous as I appear to be, I am not a rule breaker- in the sense of things like laws and such. Not at all! Last week during a shoot my client wanted to pick a flower to use and I just about had a heart attack! Wimp bo bimp, yes I know… but for this shoot we broke all kinds of rules and yes, my heart Read More
One of my last 2010 clients of the year- my December peeps Justin and Chrissy- and I had our fabulous engagement session in a new and pretty awesome place- Storm King Art Center – it’s a sculpture park in New York. Not only was it a perfectly beautiful fall day- but there was so much art to see- in the form of crazy large sculptures many of which were created by some pretty famous artists! Let’s just say we had a great day- check it out!

Trips in to Boston are always a good time, and it gets to be even better when I get to know my clients even better and try new things! More on that later! Kelly, Mike and I started our shoot at the Boston Commons- it was a blustery day but we made the most of it and had a good time regardless… Nothing warms one up more than snuggling with their significant other, right?
Our whole shoot Miss Kelly walked around Boston with these awesome heels….! I had to show them off, because they Read More

One of my favorite Hartford venues to work at- the historic Gershon Fox Room– is having a Wedding and Event Planning show and cocktail reception TOMORROW evening from 5:00 pm – 8:00 p.m.! Why am I shouting you ask? Well, I will be there with some of the industry’s most talented wedding vendors- Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events and Tony Palmieri of Datura a Modern Garden to name a few- along with many other photographers, Florists, Videographers, Planners, DJ’s, Lighting Designers and Cake… people? Makers? Cookers? What?
There will be cake, that is all you have to worry about!

The best clients are often those already familiar with your work, and Kristina and Kevin are a perfect example. Kristina was a bridesmaid in Katelyn and Jim’s wedding last year, and we are from the same hometown. With so many familiar faces and such a great couple, this wedding was a blast. Congratulations Kristina and Kevin!
Kudos to Greg Lewis for shooting with me and for rounding out this post with some great shots below!
In addition to it’s clever name… come on, F Stop breast cancer?? love it!… this awesome photographer, Lydia Shannon contacted me a while back to see if I would be interested in donating a 60 minute mentoring session to help raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Well, of course! was my answer. Many people we know and love have been affected by this terrible disease, so no effort is too small, in my opinion.
How can YOU help? Well, in addition to me there are a TON of fabulous photographers that are donating their time for the cause. Read More
Caitlin and Fausto’s amazing Hartford wedding was a feast for the eyes, and my native Hartford soul….!! One of our favorite venues in the city, The Society Room + Hartford City Hall? It was a photographer’s delight, for sure! I had my trusty, amazing second Mike Romano and our lovely assistant Miss Sara Code Kroll along for the ride! We started our day off with another C 10ike fave, Dana Bartone and Co. on hair and makeup!
I love how happy Caitlin looks here!
